Tom Daley’s Boiled Egg and Avocado Soldiers

An introduction to eggs and avocado for baby to feed themselves, packed full of nutrition with high quality protein, vitamins and minerals from the egg, and the avocado adds some extra vitamin E. Suitable from six months.

Ingredients

  • 1 large British Lion egg
  • A quarter of an avocado
  • 1 slice of white bread

Method

1. Boil the British Lion egg for 6 minutes. Cool under cold running water and peel off the shell. Cut in half and set aside. 

2. Toast the bread and cut off the crusts. 

3. Mash the avocado until it is very smooth and spread onto the toast. Slice into fingers and serve with the egg halves so your baby can feed themselves.
