Beware non-UK eggs and look for the Lion, says expert

With major Salmonella outbreaks linked to eggs in Italy, Spain and Sweden being investigated, Sterling Crew - independent scientific advisor and public health commentator – has continued highlighting the food safety benefits of choosing British Lion eggs.

His most-recent post on LinkedIn highlighted the latest Salmonella outbreak in Sweden. 


Crew’s two posts, outlining the food safety risks associated with non-UK eggs, have been viewed more than 40,000 times and driven significant engagement from other food safety professionals, including Dr Lisa Ackerley.
